Women have a metabolism better suited to endurance, according to Dr Cara Ocobock, director of the Human Energetics Laboratory at the University of Notre Dame.

‘Going for the kill’
“[This] would have been critical in early hunting because they would have had to run the animals down into exhaustion before actually going in for the kill,” she said.

What a stupid fricking conclusion.

They may have a hormone that gives them a metabolism suited better to endurance, but men still have better endurance overall so who gives a shite.

Yeah ok.

I’m sure all the strength, power, size, and testosterone wasn’t used at all

Well, I bet they were all smarter than this supposed scientist, even then. Men have consistently excelled at every physical sport that ever existed. Women do have wider hips, for childbirth; that’s actually true, but it doesn’t make them faster, or quicker, that’s BS. This has to be clickbait…

This is what people don't understand. Equality, in all of its forms, is a legal fiction that only exists due to civilized society. Once that thin veneer wears off, its back to survival of the fittest.

Women only have rights because men allow them to. That is a fact. Eventually, every right a woman has is reinforced by men with guns.

Articles like this are about replenishing the feminist psyche with new confirmation bias.

Their point is that estrogen helps in extreme endurance competitions like ultramarathons, therefore it must have been useful in persistence hunting situations. BUT… what sort of hunting expedition chases prey for hundreds of miles so that estrogen becomes an advantage, a la ultramarathon?

And the study really does just brush aside the fact that a woman back then was likely pregnant every year of her adult life. How could they spend all that time bringing home the bacon, literally… in that condition year after year… more so than the men?

Or any weapon, but that is 100% factual, of course with a women to push them along. White males specifically have been the biggest feminists ever, but get no credit, and yet they still want more. frick 'em.

The wider hips of a woman also are an advantage, a physiological study published in American Anthropologist found. Likely an adaptation to aid in childbirth, they also allow women to rotate more when walking or running, which elongates the stride, making movement more efficient.

Yes this is why women dominate men in track

Exactly. Give me a stick and don't feed me for a week and I'd still kick the shite out of 5 bitches who skipped lunch.

So biologically, women are:

- Weaker
- Slower
- Less coordinated
- Worse at judging spatial relationships

They were therefore better at hunting, which requires people to be strong, fast, coordinated, and adept at judging distance? Huh.

It’s like they never considered that if they had to run 100 miles to complete the kill they would also have to lug the fruits of their kill back to the tribe. Do we really think these cave dwelling women went and ran a ultramarathon, killed an animal and then walked the meat 75 miles back to the stay-at-home dads? Have these idiot scientists ever seen what these ultramarathon women look like after a race? Or that those ultramarathon women look frail as hell before the race even starts?

Of course they were good at hunting back then.

It's sad that their hunting skills have eroded since the invention of Amazon and the shopping mall.

As evidenced by the ten fastest men's times in a marathon

VS the ten fastest women's time in a marathon

Bigger numbers are better, right?

Odds are no prehistoric woman ever looked like these either

I wonder why they have been around for so long for no reason?
