I still have one in my garage. I take it to the tee-ball field about once a year for a HR derby with some friends and we hit NUKES!

There's still a functional phone booth in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. It can only make local calls, but it's free.

Some kids got Atari before us. Lots of kids had Coleco or whatever after us. But, we had Intellivision.
We were the only family in the neighborhood with Betamax. My pops insisted it was the superior product. So, we were buying movies for $100, while everyone else was paying $10.

Went to an estate sale in New Orleans of a horder 2012ish. She had all kinds of Mardi Gras stuff she collected. Anyway, she had stacks of schwegmann bags. 50 or 60 maybe more. Thought about getting a few for when the saints suck.

Reminds me of the joke in Superman the Movie, where the phone booths in 1978 aren't complete anymore, so he can't change clothes in one.
These days, even those kiosks don't exist as everyone has a cell phone. The joke doesn't hit the same.

my ex father in law owned the Otasco in Amite then they were sold to Western Auto.
You can still get screwballs every now and then. The guy that drives the ice cream truck in in my neighborhood keeps some for me because he knows I will buy all he has!!
