When they come clean about what really happened in Las Vegas I’ll give them a chance with their new laws. Until then just keep quiet please.

Well when the other side is filled with tyrannical leftists who’s only goal is to strip freedoms and liberty from the citizens, opposing them is the smart option.

This seems like a solution in search of a problem. I doubt the people using guns for bad intentions are going through the hassle of 3D printing and building guns. And the small number that are, you know, won't care about the law.

Eta
Just to really kick the hornet's nest, someone should remind Dick Blume that treating a hunk of metal like a gun is surprisingly analogous to treating a hunk of cells like a human.

As soon as I agreed with your post, I heard a helicopter over my house and my FB feed showed me ads for military surplus equipment!

Led by Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, these Senate Democrats — who include Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York — want to require that all guns sold in the United States after Jan. 1, 2022, can be traced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

I know it's already been covered, but this sentence literally means nothing because the items being sold as 80% complete are, by definition, not firearms.

Their are already millions of firearms that can’t be traced back to a owner, anything bought used from a private party, inherited, or given away.

How long until someone kills or maims themself when a high-powered, 3D printed rifle explodes?

Disclaimer: I don’t think this is a reason to regulate them. If you want to try to 3D print an M82 based off of plans you found on the internet, I tend to just view that as Darwinism at work.

If I want to build a custom Glock, I can either buy a Polymer80 lower and have it shipped directly to me or buy a stripped or complete factory lower and have it shipped to an FFL. Neither one of them can fire a round in their current condition. No criminal is going to spend the money and take the time required to build a gun with an 80% lower.

Exactly. The article keeps calling it a weapon. It is a chunk of metal with a few machined features.

Like you said, it is debating at what point to call something a firearm.

If an unborn child isn’t a life, a home manufactured lower that doesn’t fire isn’t a gun. Let’s see how they feel about that.

Jesus Christ. Your mindset is the perfect example of what is wrong with our political system.

The people win when all sides do not otherwise we would live in a dictatorship.
I'm against any new laws. At this point we have too many already.

Contrary to authoritarians, not everything, literally, needs to be regulated, and governed, and legislated.
