I can make an AR lower out of a piece of oak, a pocket knife, and a drill.

Honestly, this is an example of why its pointless to outlaw shite... No matter what, people will find away to get what they want.

We need common sense gun control regulations.

Repeal the 1934 NFA.

You are going to try and regulate what people 3D print?

Good luck. I’m sure you will inconvenience the entire 3D printing community and achieve nothing.

Why not? Anyone who wanted one bad enough would figure out the proper channels of getting one.

Crew served weapons are better. M2 or Mk19 for me, although I'll take a 240B in a pinch.

Kids keep shooting other kids in the hood with stolen firearms, and these idiots care about the percentage of a percentage of a percentage of people that are experimenting with 3D printing a firearm.

Pathetic.

What’s illegal about it? What federal law are you citing?

All guns should be "Ghost guns". Ever free man in this country should be able to buy whatever weapons they desire. The founders intended for the citizens to have weaponry equal to the Government. It doesn't stop at semi auto guns, full auto guns, explosives, rocket launchers, bombs, jets, aircraft carriers, etc.

Any restriction is a violation of the constitution, including trying to regulate 3D printed guns.

A couple of things. You will never be able to print a belt fed 50 cal, I don't care what kind of 3d printer you have, it won't happen, not in our lifetimes. No, it is not illegal to 3D print a gun, it does not have to be registered and you can print a lot of AR parts with a 3d printer. Hell, you can 3d print a single shot gun only needing a nail to finish it off, now that is not legal without adding a certain amount of metal to the frame so it would set off a metal detector, but who is going to stop that.
