Black on black inner city murder rate is the bigger issue. But none of them will be honest with the problems in their community. Thousands of black lives are taken each year due to this vs what less than 10 due to improper police decisions...

You realize both can be problems right?

And if it's the 10 unarmed black people killed by police last year you are talking about, I believe 6 of those were 100% justified. So it's really 4. If that's what you were referring to.

Yep this protest is ridiculous and just a reason to cause anarchy. Easier to lash out and point fingers than look inside to the real problems.

It’s always someone else’s fault. They will always blame the white man for their problems and mistakes.

Let's get one thing straight. There should be zero deaths of any unarmed person.

But yes, when you commit crimes at higher rates and kill officers, your going to probably have more negative interactions.

i don't understand why police reform and police brutality are becoming a controversial issue. holding cops accountable benefits us all.

Because the narrative of the protests are just straight up false. That’s why it’s partisan

Yes, it most certainly is.

It’s a problem for all people across all races. That’s the issue with these “protests.” They’ve turned it into a race thing instead of a police thing, and lost a significant number of would be supporters in the process.

Sure, they could be. But they're not.

In theory, yes. But I'm sorry, if you aren't armed and you just straight up rush a cop and try to take his gun, you are probably going to get shot. If you are unarmed and trying to run over a cop in your car, you will be shot.

If I remember the numbers right, I'm pretty sure there were more white people killed by cops last year than black people.

Breonna Taylor and no knock warrants tend to disagree.

One of the best things that may come out of this is to limit use of no knock warrants.

Conduct yourself in a respectful manner and don’t do illegal shite and you will never give them a reason to escalate a situation.

you are absolutely correct. But the focus du jour is on Floyd's homicide.

and no ones gets outraged over black on black crime or black, fatherless children, so we don't address those within the community.

I can get behind this. No knock warrants are dangerous for everyone. I don't like them. They have to find another way.

100%.

what about holding the citizens accountable as well? It needs to go both ways.

Neighbors need to take control of their neighborhood and tell cops what they know about illegal activity. Help get the trash off of their own streets.

Don't tell me that it is "systematic racism" that companies do not want to invest in stores in your neighborhood, offering jobs and benefits. Then once every few years, you burn the neighborhood down.

when that "aspiring student" shoots/kills someone, don't tell me about how tough his upbringing was. Don't tell me it is the guns, or video games, etc. No excuses. Own your actions.

Commit the crime, do your time. For cops, for normal citizens. Rant over.

Police brutality will always exist. We can’t prevent all unjust murders by police bc people aren’t perfect. Is it a systemic problem? Lol absolutely not
