She's entitled to more

I never bitch or moan or complain. I always tip above average even if it was shitty service.
Last night I was eating at a restaurant and ordered a sandwich and onion rings. The waitress brought it out and she said she would bring out ketchup, mustard and hot sauce. After 10 minutes, I got up and wandered around the restaurant until I found the stuff myself.
20 minutes later she walks up with the bill. I was pissed. I said "don't worry about the ketchup and hotsauce. I'll get it, it's fine." She started apologizing and then crying. After that display I wrote her a 0 tip. I'm 41 and that was the first time I've ever tipped bad in my life.

Was it busy? I wish I could have been witness to this

You should have called the pizza place and gotten her fired. Tipping is out on control in this country.
If you are are buying a $12 pizza, you are paying $1 dollar in tax, $2.50 delivery fee, and then another $5.00 tip. No fricking way. I would never order pizza.

She could have made an honest mistake bringing out your bill (thinking you were done when it was a different table that was done)

Thats a dick move. Didnt you already have the ketchup and other stuff?

So were you giving her a $0 tip before the apologizing and crying or after? If the latter, why?

What poor schmuck tips $2 on a delivery? I tip $2 per order of drinks at a damn all inclusive you cheap arse!
Not everybody is a sucka like you. www.tipthepizzaguy.com recommends 15% tips for normal service. If you have a $14 total, then the $2 is right around that 15% mark.

You missed the point OP. She was being subtle and offering to blow you for a bit extra. You showed her.

I would have given her the $5, and then called the dominoes and gotten her fired.
It might sound mean, but the life lesson she will learn from getting fired for that is probably more valuable than her pizza job.

Fake story. No such thing as a pizza delivery girl.

I'm wondering if we live near each other because I ordered domino's the other day and I did tip 20% in cash on top of the bill. The girl said something like is there more of a tip because I work on tips I said its in your hands, that's it. Also bothered me; highly considered calling the store then just said eff it and ate my pizza.

That was crass of her, but rather petty of you to stiff her out of spite
You tip people so that you ensure they provide adequate service and a pleasurable experience for you while they serve you. She ruined that, so she didn't deserve shite. I delivered food. I also waited tables a little. Asking for money will get you fired from pretty much any place I ever worked. I would have told her she was lucky I wasn't calling the manager to let him know what she was doing.

Did anyone else think of the porno clips for Big Sausage Pizza after reading the OP?
Posted on 8/1/16 at 7:34 pm to BullredsRus
That sounds like some junky level delivery tactic. The store would probably appreciate you letting them know.
