I had two large mulberry trees in my front yard, and 6 palms in my back yard when we moved in. One Mulberry tree fell towards the street during the last Hurricane and cost 3K to have removed (price gouging after a storm). The second one was rotting out and we had to have it removed - that was 1K ...
A few ideas: If they don't have a housekeeper, pay for one to come once or twice. It is a really nice gesture and grief is truly exhausting. Don't stop reaching out to him and inviting him to things. When someone loses a loved one, people get scared to reach out and the loss of friendship/act...
I think you forgot to post Era 4 with Olivia, Nurys, Horacio, Michelle, Jenny, Josh, Kyland, Paulie, and Kaycee. Missing Jordan and Wes, but otherwise this cast is great. Vietnam will be a cool destination to watch. The women in Era 2 are completely stacked. ...
A) These people are idiots. Clicking and posting these links is the exact thing they want you to do to give them a voice. It is always an out of towner who knows nothing about the culture of a state, pointing things out and then a bunch of white women jump on board 2) this quote cracked me up ta...

I would take a "time is not an issue" trip over a money is not an issue trip. 10 days always seems like the max I can get away at a time and it kills the logistics of a lot of trips. ...

Flew them business class to Vietnam and it was an excellent product. Flew coach on the way back and it was better than most american airlines for food and service, but still typical coach. ...

re: Good base for Amalfi Coast.

I stayed in Praiano and loved it. Easy walk from most of the hotels to the bus stop. It is a much quieter town than Positano or Amalfi, but still had a few great restaurants and such. Positano is the next one over, so the views from the Restaurants in Praiano are the best on the coast, overlooking b...
That was the most boring final of all time. They really need to make sure and not invite back a few of the really boring players from this season. Colleen, James, etc. I like Horacio and Emmanuel, but they also make for boring TV. There were two many of those same personalities on one season. The o...
Everyone wants to blame it on a president, but it’s the internet that caused the divide. And honestly, it seems like the baby boomers and older Gen x find “racism to be at its all time worst” because that is the generation who is most influenced by facebook and fake news outlets. If you get off of f...
Damn….that was hard to watch. I have to admit, this season has set up a very good cast of villains/alliances/enemies. I imagine a few vets might retire after season 40, so hopefully this new group keeps the seasons going after ...

The only reason I can think that Ed is staying with the Jay/Michelle side is that the guys in that group are so much easier to beat in a final. If Ed goes to a final with Horacio/Kyland/Emmanuel he will lose but he can easily beat Jay/Corey/James/ in anything endurance related. Emanuel is the ? ...
That seems really high. We had a situation where we were uninsured for about 45 days at the end of last year. Of course, my son breaks his nose in two places and needs a CT scan and stitches while on vacation in Telluride in December. Total without insurance for an adult CT scan, ER visit and st...

We went to Cairo last year with our 10 year old daughter. Stayed at a resort in New Cairo. We don't like tours, but a private driver is a must. Roads are crazy and it is pretty spread out. Reminded me of a 5K-year-old Houston at times. Pyramids are amazing, as is the Museum (the new museum a...

Best Ski Resort in Europe?

August in Europe can be really, really busy. My favorite city in Europe is Florence, but that would be an example of one that I would not recommend. (A lot of things closed, and swarmed by Chinese tourists that month) I would choose a place that is more naturistic - where you can escape the cro...

I would add Steamboat Springs to that list. Southwest flies there and the airport is about 30 minutes from town. They have free skiing on Sundays at Howelson Hill, which is a great place to learn. If you can time it right, you can land on Saturday - Ski for free on Sunday at Howelson Hill - and then...
I am guessing you are going now because it was cheaper vs going in February, you are finding out why it is cheaper.
Bingo. I’ve been skiing for about 4 years now, but always in January and February and never thought about the amount of snow. I thought getting a ski-in/out for this ...
