I've never been to "Sonic", not sure how that works. If a tip is merited for the particular sale, then yes. I've never given anyone just 2-3 bucks as a tip.

I'll tip the waiter at a Mexican joint $4-5 for a $10-20 meal. I'll tip $4-5 for a $50 meal elsewhere.

I'm tipping for a service not for the upcharge on my food.

Waitresses can blow me if they wanna cry about it

I do not like that the company charges a $2 delivery fee and doesn't give any of that to the drivers. The drivers make a tad less than minimum wage and most people see that delivery fee and assume the driver gets it.

I drove for Dominos for a summer in '98. I made good money ($100 a day was good money in college when a lot of kids were selling plasma and stuff) but then there was no delivery fee of $2 and I got $.65 a run (or similar)


I always give $5, I figure delivery pizza costs me $7 more than picking it up, which is why I usually pick it up now.
