They aren't wrong. Domestic cats murder the shite out of birds every year.

They are essentially an invasive species.

PETA was already retarded.

And this is one of the less retarded things they've done. No doubt that outdoor cats kill a lot of birds.

And actually even that 2.4 billion stat does seem to be based off of real studies from organizations like the Smithsonian, even though I was pretty surprised it was that high.

They cannot make up their mind.

Imprison my barn cats? They kill all the mice.

I bet they want free range chicken eggs though.

Why do they get to decide? And why are birds so dumb? They fly and shite. Can they not just fly away from cats?

PETA has, and will always be, full retard.

But cats do absolutely fricking decimate wild bird populations. And I don't want your cat climbing on my car at night. If you're in a neighborhood, I agree cats should be inside. Barn cat on some big property killing rats? Whatever.

Also, spay and neuter them.

I admittedly don't like cats either.

First time I have agreed with PETA.

Stray cats kill billions of birds in the US alone every year.

They have attributed to the extinction of some species.

If you let your cat go outside, you are a fricking problem.

I’m no fan of PETA, people that think they are wrong on this issue should look to the feral cat problem in Australia

my cat proudly brought in a barely alive bird just the other week. I was proud of him.

those damn mockingbirds holler at him every afternoon as he just sits in the backyard, listening to their yapping, patiently waiting for one of them to come swoop down close enough so he can catch them. It's a great way to spend an afternoon watching a natural predator go to work.

I always enjoy when i go a few days without having to feed the cat, knowing he's been eating birds and what not outside instead of the dry cat food in his bowl.

Can you imagine if we had 2.4 billion more birds on this planet? i'd have even more bird shite on my car. Thanks kitty menews!!! keep up the good work!

I think most people would disagree with the perceived outrage.

Vehicles and road traffic roadkill countless animals but we don't walk everywhere we go over that.

My neighbors are big bird people. Retired and sit on their patio with a ton of feeders and trees they planted to attract certain birds. They're actually super successful with it.

Anyways, another neighbor moved into our neighborhood and had an outdoor cat that kept massacring these cool birds. Bluebirds, finches, cardinals, woodpeckers, etc.

They asked them politely to keep the cat inside and showed them pictures of dead birds and were assholes in response. So my bird watching neighbors caught the cat, spayed it, and brought it to a big farm their friends owned that has a couple horse barns with rat issues

a-hole neighbors then set up flyers for the lost cat and CatfishJohn just played dumb
