I don't know what "HEB" is
HEB is the big homegrown grocery chain over in Texas. Swung in one once when there on a trip. Very nice place.

As for my pet peeve, someone already mentioned people not using their turn signals, and for me it's specifically when I'm to pull out of a driveway, and I'm waiting on this one car to pass, and that person waits til the last second to turn on their signal light, or doesn't use it at all, before turning. And by that time, more traffic is coming and I have to wait longer, when I could have pulled out of the driveway if the first car had just let me know they were turning.
People too often assume that it's only necessary to use their signal if they think they might be rear-ended by someone driving close behind them, and they don't think it's important to let everyone else know what they're doing, so those people aren't held hostage waiting to see what you're going to do.

Because that adds more hours to payroll and you would be one of the first to scream about them raising prices to offset cost. Doesn't HEB have online shopping that you could use to make your life easier.

What bothers me more is when people jump in the right lane approaching a red light bc they want to be first instead of second. Meanwhile they are now preventing people from taking a right on red which just adds to traffic.
The worst part is they don’t even realize it. Quite confident a bunch of poor drivers in this thread are guilty of it.

I wouldn't be stuck at the light if you'd drive the speed.limit

Honorable mention goes to anyone who stops to “let someone in” at an intersection. You aren’t helping anyone you idiot. All you are doing is messing up the flow of traffic and the order of who has the right of way. This is especially bad when there is a center turn lane involved.
Amen! Messing up the order of who has the right of way causes accidents.

No it doesn't add hours. The people who do this work are not cashiers. They come in for sole purpose of just restock and that kind of work around 9. All it would do is shift their work back if they come at 11. It wouldn't add any. If anything, it'd actually lower the amount of time spent working as they wouldn't have to deal with customers and them getting entangled slowing stuff down.

Nice one! Yes it sure does because the same idiots who show us a little disregard for rules the road, and driving awareness are the ones constantly getting in wrecks, and causing this state to have sky rocking auto Insurance premiums

to provide 14hrs of unfettered access to their goods for the normal people who shop at reasonable hours. Spoken like some metrosexual fig who grocery shops at 10pm. Perhaps you should go split a cord of wood.
Congrats on being a dumbass and wasting 30 more minutes of your life in traffic than me each time you go. I'll do things the right and efficient way at 9 or 10 as I'm not wasting my life on traffic like a sheeple.
You sound like you need a good arse whooping. People like you eventually get it one way or the other. Always happens.

Right. And you grocery shop at the time when the grocery store is re-stocking their shelves. Then whine about it like little bitch on the internet. Congrats on all your winning.

People who don't move at green lights in Houston during rush hour. Thanks for looking at your phone and adding 5 minutes to my drive.
It’s not a good idea to take off as soon as the light turns green, at least not before looking both ways for the idiots running the red light because they’re looking at their phone.

That is one of my main pet peeves about many drivers today. It happens at more red lights than I want to think about. Dumbasses with their heads glued to that screen instead of paying attention to actually driving.
And especially so since I also own and ride a motorcycle. The near misses have gotten more and more over the last 20 years. I don't only have to drive my bike, but also keep an eye on the idiots on cellphones not paying attention.

How HEB at 9 PM (posted closing hours of 11 PM) starts filling their entire aisles with restock inventory (10 ft wide by 12 ft tall pallets) littered everywhere, and bringing out construction scissor lifts with beeps as loud as an ambulance for repairs which all of this blocks 80% of aisles, some completely blocked.
In fairness, you have to wrestle with and dodge all the HEB shoppers during the day to get what you need, so they can only stock late at night.

It's why I don't like buying used cars from unknown owners.
People are generally stupid.

Mostly because it's SO frickING EASY. It literally takes one finger and your hand doesn't even have to leave the steering wheel. It's literally one of the easiest, most simple things one can do in life to show they have some form of decency to others and we still have half the population that's like "nah, too much effort"

How about idiots who watch the light turn green for a few seconds before moving? Or idiots who barely move through a green light? Or idiots who are in the right lane but not turning right at a red light? Or idiots who constantly are braking while driving down the road?
