So, not to protect the bike driver from a devastating potentially deadly head injury in an accident. Wild take. Zero chance I'd ever be surrounded by nothing but air during highway or interstate speeds without a helmet.

You realize your brain isn't attached to your skull right? it has plenty of room to bounce around in there not to mention if you get thrown off of a motorcycle at any kind of speed your brain might not be your worst problem
