I know another way to identify that characteristic.

Overlay payday loan and fried chicken restaurant locations

Google maps street view seems like a good tool as well.

I was just thinking of this the other day. On the weekends I go eat my breakfast with my dog at the river. I have to drive through town to get there. There are always 5-7 people jogging. It's a pretty safe place to live

Not a joke.
A SOCOM FOB (forward operating base) was identified by AQ in Afghanistan via one of these fitness apps. The operators were issued some GPS watch that tracked their runs and the app ended up showing a ton of running routes in the middle of the desert. It was the fenceline of their base that these guys were running round all day long.
It happened again in Syria. Fitness trackers are very much NOT allowed now.

They look as if they’ve been working.

They also had the guy running on an aircraft carrier deck using the app and the vessel’s location was supposed to be hidden except for ol boy getting his run in gave them away.

Wasn’t a guy using his watch on an aircraft carrier giving away the location of the carrier at sea the entire time?

That's pretty much what all the African migrants in Europe do. Just stand around all day.

I wonder what the TD Strava group heat map would look like
Posted on 8/27/26 at 2:23 pm to hawgfaninc
There are several racial, ethnic and economic heat maps for every city and state. Crime rates too.

Any one jogging in 9th ward or New Orleans East?

Basically, move to neighborhoods that have home owners that actually that care. In my day it was once rent homes started to take over a neighborhood, that neighborhood was on the way down. Airbnb and all of that has made it even worse.

Peace and Quiet app was much more straight to the point.

Women in workout attire in the middle of the day = good area
Men in workout attire in the middle of the day = bad area
Lot of different elements to this...
-People who take care of themselves are more likely to take care of the place they live
-If its safe to run its probably safe in general
