Go to La Casa Del Ceviche for dinner. It’s in La Gloria neighborhood. Ask to sit on the roof and go at sunset.

Mango cafe for breakfast.

Kin Ha is our favorite beach club, it’s not on the north beach but you can borrow snorkel and stuff and they have some great snorkeling right off the pier.

We like Green Demon on the north beach. Fun on Friday or Saturday with live music and dancing Latinas

Spend a morning a Punta Sur on the south end. Plenty of wildlife to be seen if you take your time. My wife and I spend hours relaxing and trying to spot sea turtles from up on the cliff. After spending time at Punta Sur, stop by The Joint for lunch and a big frozen drink. Super chill bar.

Check out Isla Brewing company. Decent beer but chill restaurant and good food. Great Poke bowl.

Tonichos is a cool neighborhood restaurant. They have pretty good pizza but also authentic Mexican. We are usually the only white folks when we go eat there.

Of course go have a drink at the Soggy Peso.

Isla is an incredible place. Cruise around and stop at hole in the walls. The locals are incredibly nice and wonderful people. Enjoy!
I almost spit out my coffee when I opened fidelity
If I had 5 mil in my portfolio, I would be on the beach, not on TD lol
Her little skedaddle across the street with gun drawn had me cracking up
Every dollar it drops I’m buying 5 more shares
We buying the dip? I think that $108 support is being tested
Clean the coils on the back. If that doesn’t help your compressor is probably about to go out. Not a super cheap fix and it may be worth more than the fridge.

Just put some new tires on it and list it
Go to an allergy doctor and get an allergy test done. Then get allergy shots for a couple years. They will concoct a shot for what you are allergic to. It’s inconvenient for a while but changed my life.

I can recommend an absolute dog allergist if interested.

What’s y’all’s favorite style? Original/western/denim etc…

I supervise blue collar work but don’t actually do much so looking for one that says hey I could do some physical labor if I needed to (but won’t be)

re: Advice: Can We Afford This House?

We were in a somewhat similar situation to you but we decided to make the move to the suburbs before the kids came. Now we have 2 and we are so happy that we moved out here.

I agree with everyone that said go for the bigger house now. You are in an awesome financial position and need to reward yourself and family by getting out of that town home and into a house with a yard and some space to stretch out. I have a similar commute and it somewhat sucks but I try to get out of the city by 3 every day and it only take me about 35 min to get out to cypress.

I would recommend you look into Town Lake. We love living out in Cypress. We have been out here for almost 10 years now.
You luckily caught the kicker commit!
What in the frick is going on!!
