And it's not just on land:

French news outlet Le Monde first reported the officer, referred to as Arthur, logged a 35-minute run on the app while exercising on the deck of aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle on 13 March.
He used a smartwatch to record his run and upload the activity to the app, the paper said, creating a map that showed his location.

You can just look at the trim color on houses. Any houses on the street with purple, blue, or pink trim and you shouldn't jog there.

Crazy how there is such a distinct line with Florida Blvd.

I used to jog by the St. Bernard projects in New Orleans. Had my best times on those days. Fear of death is a great motivator.

You can 100% identify the socioeconomics of any area by the amount of people actively using the sidewalks. Some of the best sidewalks in Bham are in Mnt Brook and Homewood. People everywhere. Some of the other best sidewalks are in Ensley and Central Park. You won’t see a soul.
If you are a runner, I highly recommend a jog around Mnt Brook. Talent is off the charts.

I can see my neighborhood on this map and know that a large percentage (if not the vast majority) of the activity in our neighborhood comes from my household.
And the Florida Blvd boundary is real. Damn.

Maybe he meant basketball shorts. I typically don’t associate running or cycling gear with crime

Basically, move to neighborhoods that have home owners that actually that care.
This. I don’t care who lives on my street or what they look like. But they need to give some semblance of a **** about maintaining their property.

Exactly, you can pick a safe neighborhood by how much trash and litter is on the ground.

Can't keep anything a secret anymore.
