it’s hard to invest time into conversation with someone who you think is as genuine as Don Lemon.

They still are. After a year and a quarter of propaganda that continually shifted, they still have faith in politicians.

Its the most insane collective behavior I have ever witnessed.

I don't think anyone here is "breathlessly afraid" of COVID. Unless you think getting vaccinated is a sign of that?

Don Lemon is way more honest. He at least understands his own ideology.

At this point I hope anyone who is either aggressively Pro/Anti vaccine are the outliers and die of either Covid or the vaccine.

It is interesting to note how many people are so supportive of big government FDA approval with this, but cry about it when the FDA wants to stick its nose into areas like supplements. Get y'alls shite straight, be consistent.

I have no problem with the FDA sticking it's nose in supplements so this doesn't apply to me. Try again.

Would all of you be crying about getting the vaccine if Trump was in office? It was he who pushed for it, he who knew it could be ready by the end of 2020 rather than the dumbshit democrats who said it wouldn't be ready until this summer.

First off, who's crying? Not me, unless you considered pointing out a fact as crying. No I would not get the vaccine if Trump was in office, not until it is approved by the FDA.

So many of you sound like Kamala Harris. Congrats.

Not much to say to you about this other than GFY.

That's the entire quote, which you neglected to post for some reason. And if the vaccine has no "research" as you said, then why are you quoting the clinical trial data, which you quoted incorrectly?

What are you babbling on about?

Pfizer clinical trials reported vaccine effectiveness of preventing infection at 93%. Just because that's the same percent in your quote doesn't mean that was the information I was citing. The vaccine effectiveness in preventing infection now stands at 64%

The part you added as my supposed "left out" quote, dealt with reducing seriousness of the Wuhan flu. WHICH IS THE POINT OF THIS WHOLE THREAD.

When you look at the top 5 symptoms of the new variants, they don't look that serious, now do they? Not enough to warrant an experimental vax? Do I really need to an experimental vax to prevent loss of smell and coughing? Because that's the only difference in symptoms between the vaxed and the unvaxed at this point.

I've called out countless dudes when they reference my take on some off topic thing asking for them to explain what my take is and show where I said that was my take.

To date, exactly zero of them have responded to being asked to show their receipts. It never fails

Am I seriously the only person here who has had friends die of COVID? There's nothing wrong with wanting to protect yourself.

You just are, ok.

Wait, you asked for examples for me to back my claims up....I don't want to talk about this any more, I'm done with you.

I really don't give a shite. I took the vaccine just so I don't have to wear the mask everywhere.

I really didn’t give a shite so I never wore a mask (except once bc I had to fly somewhere) and I didn’t get the social experiment injection.

Never understood the mindset that people allowed the govt to force them to get this shot so they couldn’t force them to wear a mask.

Don’t allow them to force either one.

The trial published in NEJM reports 95% effectiveness from the November clinical trials. The numbers you quote are from recent Israeli data. It might not mean much in the overall context, but given that your numbers match directly with the Israeli data, why are you trying to pretend otherwise? It would be an incredible coincidence for you to pull the same exact numbers if you were using another source.

Again, you are using the term experimental wildly. Regardless, the point of any vaccination program is not only to diminish an individual's chance of serious illness, but also to take advantage of characteristics of human immunity which are directly social. That no one discussed the social nature of human immunological response was a great failure of communication of public health officials. And the difference in serious illness between vaccinated and unvaccinated groups is meaningfully different, and even the vaccine side effects, such as myocarditis, are side effects possible with the virus itself, with far more severe sequelae that exist with the virus that do not exist with the vaccine.

The new variants aren’t shite. They are significantly weaker. If you are young and healthy and haven’t gotten the vaccine by now there really is no point in getting it

If you’re old or unhealthy that’s different you probably should get it

How it’s been since day one. Can’t believe people are still whining about people not getting the vaccine. Get it or don’t just shut up already
