The rumor going around town is she left the bar alone to go meet a co-worker. She OD'd wherever they were, and the co-worker panicked and had a friend help bury her on a family member's property.

So no prelim finding of physical trauma leading to death. But abuse of a corpse charge. So sounds like they went to this house to go on a bender and she OD’d. Then guy had sex with her corpse?

Pretty sure there's video of her leaving the bar alone. But it's possible she met up with the black guy outside the bar.

Alabama law “if he or she knowingly treats a human corpse in a way that would “outrage ordinary family sensibilities.”

Your right, I misread that. Says they just have evidence that the she and the guy were with each other that night. Total conspiracy theory, but Peighton and her friend leave to meet up with the guy and do drugs, she dies, then her friends tell the cops that Peighton left with the guy from the bar and then anonymously tips the police to her burial site knowing they’ll find evidence she was with a convicted sex offender

That makes more sense. I guess up here they refer to it as improper burial of a body so the abuse of corpse charge made me think it was different

No idea. My wife works in Trussville where this girl is from and this is the story that's going around up there.
And again, it's just a rumor so could be BS. It does kind of line up with the fact pattern we do have.
