He's in the registry. He and seven other men gang raped and sodomized a woman in 1991. He spent 20 years in prison and was released in 2012.

There's no crazy story here. She left with some guys to trade sex for drugs. She overdosed. They buried her body. Her friend wasn't involved, her girlfriend wasn't involved... She was just an addict who made a really bad decision and her addiction finally claimed her life.
The rumors 'going around town' are about as reliable as "hands up, don't shoot".

Not really. People are just randomly inserting her friend into this because it makes for a more fun story. The police have pretty much confirmed what happened. It's possible that she was given something at the bar or maybe she was forced to leave but right now the story is pretty straightforward.

Nowhere in any of the reports does it confirm she relapsed, left to do drugs, was willing to exchange sex for drugs or even died of an overdose. If it hasn’t been confirmed or even mentioned, saying she died of an overdose is just that - rumors.

I am from Trussville and have lots of friends that knew her family. Most people close to her are being tight lipped about everything. They are still waiting on the rest of the toxicology reports and I believe in a few weeks they will release those to show the true cause of death. I believe at that time everything will come out and shed more light on everything that occurred that evening. I have heard so many rumors that she did this and that and this and that.
