Are there ever cases where they aren’t mean* or little shits? I have six year old girl that I love with all my heart. I’m not sure if I could take her acting out

Mine is 25. Seems like 6 months ago we were bringing her home in her little pink carrier. Time flies. She absolutely adored me until she was 12. Then it was a battle thru about age 18. When she went off to LSU, she matured quickly. She is a college grad with a real adult job now and I couldn't be more proud of her.

Friend shared that when your child is delivered, the doctor hands you your child.

You never stop holding them.

Mine is 16 now. She’s coming back around. About 3 years ago she basically pushed me away after we were thick as thieves for 12 years. A few friends told me it happened to them but they come back in 4-6 years. I cried in these conversations.

It appears to be coming true as I’m getting more hugs lately, more questions, pulled back into her life. I hung on to hope because of these guys telling me how it goes. I hope the same for you. Just always be there for your daughter and she’ll come back.

Mine was born at 25 weeks 1lb 10oz and was in NICU for 4 months before she came home.

24 years later this past month she graduated from college with her BSN and passed her NCLEX exam. While I’m one proud dad I sure missed the days when needed me.

Time goes fast, love them while they are young. Girls need a strong father/daughter relationship.

Would you cry over your son becoming a man?!
I’ve got 3 daughters and a son. I am thrilled to see them becoming young adults! They keep me guessing- but that makes it so fun!

Mine is 12 and mean as shite 70% of the time. I miss when she was younger and almost always sweet.

So basically, this is your life now:

Well if she's being a raging bitch, it gets better around age 22-23.

If it's just worry about losing her, I've got nothing. My oldest went off to college in 2020 and now lives out West.

This was so special for me with my daughter. She chose “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison. We hadn’t danced together since her last Dad and Daughter dance when she was doing dance recitals but we cut a rug like we had practiced the whole thing. Special moments are priceless.

Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they shall not depart from it.

Pray that scripture every night. Trust the Lord with the rest.

All I got to offer.

I’ve got a 7 and 3 year and could see this happening. Boys are crazy. I wish I could just freeze time right now. Life is great.

I have two - 19 & 22. I feel like that I have fought the social media influence more than them.

She got so mad, stomped out of the room, but then turned around and yelled out “I hate you”. I just busted out laughing and reminded her of when i had predicted that day coming. This of course made her even more angry.

Ours did this at 13 ha ha ha. It's funny now because she's a remarkably sweet and loving young woman, but at the time I thought I needed to call a priest! Where did my precious baby girl go? Those early teenage years were rough.

Is she at the daddy is no one stage? It passes. It’s a long time in the dessert but they’ll come around.

My oldest daughter is about to turn 11
I fricking hate it. Looking at all her videos from birth to 6 or so is brutal.
