I do too. I'll occasionally wear some cargo shorts too.

Valued my marriage more than ever. We have been together since 1985 our senior year in HS. Married in 90.

As my parents age I spent more time with them and appreciate all they went through to raise us. Love my two brothers and show them every chance I get. Life is short.

Focused on my career more. At this point I had 12 years with the company I still work for and knew I wanted to retire there.

Retirement savings plans meant more. 401K and my company pension.

Kids were teens so was able to spend good time with both. I have two sons. Grown and gone now.

Focused on mortgage payoff. Succeeded this goal at 45

At 53 now - I just want to make it to retirement.

I wear cargo shorts to Saints games when the wife comes along because she hands me all of her shite to carry. My phone, her phone, keys, the tickets, my money clip her ID and credit card, etc.

I like the LL Bean polos and khakis because they're sturdy AND they don't put a logo on them.

Yep. My wife does this to me at Mardi Gras parades and tailgating. Those extra pockets come in handy sometimes

Increased confidence and decreased tolerance for BS that doesn’t add value to the the life of those I care about (toxic people, entitled people, negativity, etc).

I also get less worked up over stuff and started crying when I watch Disney movies.

For me, not Disney movies, but movies about father son relationships. My dad, who was an excellent dad, passed in 2004 and now when I watch movies like Field of Dreams, The Rookie, A Christmas Story, Rudy, and some others, I get pleasantly emotional, thinking about our relationship.

To be honest I'm still passionate about the same things that have always motivated me: competition, sex, reading, learning, travel, art, great food, professional advancement, beautiful women, exercise, sports. I tend to pursue these avocations with greater wisdom, patience, and compassion now, though.

From "maybe you should walk on the sidewalk instead of the middle of the street"

to," Hey, get out of the street or get hit"

to "Prolonged sitting on horn"

I went through a divorce around the time I turned 40, so my attitude got surprisingly better. My life began when I turned 40...personal life, job, finances, et al.

I’m 26 and I care half as much about sports as I used to. Don’t really get worked up about games win or lose.

I started seeing signs of old man strength. It's not fully developed, but it's getting there.
