I went to the grocery store 20 minutes ago to pick up a salad for lunch and one of these was leaving the parking lot. I could hear it idling in the parking lot when I walked out the doors.

Great-sounding cars...

I love my GTS, but nothing sounds better than V-8 tuned for speed.

2022 explorer platinum (stupid name)
3.0 ecoboost with 400hp if premium is used.
Put it in sport mode and it will run like a scalded ape.

Now I want one with the Ghost package or at least ST.

I saw a Maserati mc20 at Walgreens. It was at idle and was beautiful.
Exhaust note sounded like a typical V6.

It was pretty.

I wasn't sure what model it was when I saw it. The rear end was very distinct though and I looked it up when I got back to the office and realized it was a LaFerrari. Only 499 made with a price tag of $3.5 million. Car was stunning to see in person .

Yes.

When my daughter started HS I told her of she got a full scholarship I would buy her a car.... she did so I held up my end of the deal.

My son works and pays his note, so technically it's his, but I co-signed for it and it's under my insurance he also pays his portion on that.

NEVER trust Ferrari on limited edition numbers, ever. I could write a dissertation on the subject but suffice it to say they don't really turn down VVVV-VIPs when they want an allocation for a sold-out limited edition.

Regarding the LaFerrari the planned run was 499, they made one for the Pope for 500 BUT there are over 570 known examples worldwide now. Before sites like VinWiki there was only speculation now there is proof. The ~570 number doesn't include Aperta special editions but that is fair and expected.

Also cars like a LaFerrari never really get junked. Even if it is just a pile of scrap, some VIN tags, and an engine block somebody warehouses them long enough until someone comes along buys it and turns it back into a running car making a million or so in the process. The Vin tags are worth a lot of money in and of themselves because it means you can register a LaFerrari.
