Headache and confusion is worrisome- esp w abd pain/ nausea. Might just be a nosebleed, but seems like waiting is not worth the risk.

Seen that turn out several different ways.

Most likely scenario IMO is a blood pressure spike which gave you a headache and simultaneously gave you a nose bleed.

On BP meds? Blood thinners ? Nasal sprays?

Good call going to ER. You need a CT.

If CT shows bleed or tumor, there is the answer. Both of these are pretty unlikely though.

If Ct negative, you need to see an ENT soon (Monday) if you didn’t see one in ER. Need a nasal eval and likely an in office nasal endoscopy.

In the meantime, saline spray, 4 sprays each nostril 4x a day. Will hopefully help prevent further bleeding by healing mucosa heal.

Not to say I'm any medical expert but sometimes sinus issues can cause these sorts of things. The sphenoid sinus cavity reaches pretty far towards the back of your sinuses.

You could have a dried out and inflamed sphenoid sinus cavity causing pain and bleeding, and inflamed sinuses can even cause dizziness and formulate into some anxiety (anxiety can manifest as all sorts of other symptoms i hear). I've had it happen.

Did you overuse any sinus products? Sleep with a fan full blast directly in your face over night? Do you breathe through your mouth? Drinking plenty of fluids?

Not a medical expert, but figured I'd put in my side. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Eta: there's also sinusitis that can be triggered by heartburn which could explain the throat irritation along with stomach pain. If your sinuses were already inflamed that mightve triggered the bleed.

Check back in and let everyone know you’re alive. Something similar happened to a family member and they were in a coma for months, then a vegetative state for about a year.

Doing ok now, but lost a lot of short term memory capacity.

Could be nothing but a one-off nose-bleed. Presumably you're not on blood thinners? Someone was joking about the vax, but if you've been vaxxed or boosted in the last couple of days, there are rare SEs which would need to be ruled out.

Can you take your BP though? High blood pressure could account for much of what you're describing, and if that's the case, it's something you'll want to get taken care of quickly.

Not on blood thinners, BP was 180/122 when I walked in. They did a CAT scan and drew labs, I'm all clear but still worried. My right eyelid is drooping, my head is killing me. I don't know. I guess I'm alright, but something feels off.

Why don't you try some gentle neck stretches?

Sometimes tight neck muscles can trigger a lot of head tension.
