I don't get it. All of her songs sound the same. Just droning on, bitching and whining about shite.

This is what’s wrong with our country. Any parent who would spend this kind of money to support entertainment is not a good parent.

That same statement was opined 30 years ago when parents were spending $150 on Air Jordans for their kids. (Chuck Taylors and Reeboks were $35). If there's a crazy demand for a product, people/fans will spend stupid $$$.

$1,000 isn’t a crazy amount of money to many Americans. jealousy is sad.

Not jealous. It is absolutely crazy to spend that kind of money on an entertainer and to Ticket Master. Take a nice vacay, donate it to an animal shelter. Invest it. $100? Ok. But not $1,000 to “Hollywood.” I like Taylor Swift, but priorities are all wrong here and teaching kids the same. The only smart one is the person who snagged the tix and can resell. That’s at least “investing.”

My kids teacher bought a whole row for the Houston show and sold them all on ebay. Dude made a killing off the suckers.

Unfortunately you probably missed your chance.

I was planning to wait it out & take the kid this summer, hoping resale prices would drop. Ended up bringing her when she was in Houston & paid $1200 for 2 tix with a “restricted” view. Very glad I did.

I would pay not to go to her shows. What a giant waste of time and money.

Why are you laughing? Give kid the money and help open an account that will grow. Go camping or to the beach for the weekend. To me it’s just not worth it to pay an entertainer. Or, rather, the fees to the 3rd party vendor. That’s why this happens. When my kids were younger we could buy for reasonable cost for popular Hillary Duff, etc. online or at the venue box office. But if this is your thing, go for it. The only smart people are the ones who got tickets and made a killing off of suckers. Kudos to them.

$1400 is cheap for the experience of a lifetime. Swifties paid a lot more here. A one woman economic stimulus boost. Coming to a town near you.

Here some lyrics so you can learn the words and sing along!

My daughter-23, great job, no pics- went with 6 of her girlfriends to both the Dallas show and the Houston show. She bought her ticket to the Dallas show when they went on sale for $500. She bought her ticket to the Houston show a half hour before it started for $200 - for a much better seat. Moral of the story - wait for the scalpers to get nervous

Don't stop there. The resale prices on Beyonce and Drake are just as ridiculous.

Also, be aware of scammers. Was a big thing here in Nashville. Nothing worse than a Swiftie on the outside looking in.

I got lucky and got 6 floor seats to the Houston show during the pre-sale and some to Nashville. I was able to pay for me and my girls ticket and pocket around $9,300 lmao.
