I see it often: a man who has married a woman with 3 or 4 kids on her own. I cannot fathom getting involved in such situation. The woman’s value significantly drops with kids. It has to be these desperate dudes are unable to get kid-free poocy

I married a woman with 2 kids when I was 27. Met her when I was 25 and just broke up with a girl. Never had a problem having girlfriends either.

if the guy is able to provide a stable father figure in the kids life, then my opinion of them is pretty high

The feeling of being able to slide it in without using your hands makes it worthwhile.

At a certain age range in most of Louisiana, divorced women with one or more children are pretty much the only thing in the dating pool if you are straight.

I feel like Reddit probably has an opinion on this.

Does said man have any kids of his own?

As a first marriage, it's kinda sad for the man.

Once they have each been divorced at least once, who gives a shite.

Some men have a psychological need to “ save” women. It gives them a boner. A variation of this is the man who chases the needy bipolar stripper type. One needs savin’ and the other wants to save, both get their psychological needs met.

My brother in law did it with 4 kids. Raised them as his own and has provided very well for them including putting all of them through college and 2 through med school.

I have a lot of respect for him.

ETA: I have a lot of respect for the kids too as they always reacted well and treat him as their father.

Chumps, everyone of them. You want a kid, you go make your own. If a kid wants a dad, then find the guy who banged your mom. It's the natural order of things.

Note: This opinion is coming from a guy that uses the word poocy.

Agree with regard to 3 or 4 kids. However, it also depends on the situation as to how she became single. Might just be a shitty situation and not a trashy one.

This again is all dependent upon the specific situation.

I married a woman with one child, I also happen to have one...

Do the kids have the same father? If not, I would most likely be out. Multiple fathers before you enter the picture doesn’t sound promising

I'm glad I'm not in that scene, but not every divorced woman with kids is some trashy harlot whose ex is a felon and who she'll probably crawl back to.

I work with a lady who is probably late 30s, 3 kids, trying to put her life back together after her husband left her. Now that's not a situation I'd be in any way attracted to, but as best I can tell she didn't do much wrong. She's not some tatted up hairdresser nor is she going on girls trips and living well off her ex. She has a professional job and lives in the burbs and tries to get over a shitty hand life dealt her (relatively).

I have a friend who got divorced. She has 3 kids and I feel sorry for whoever lines up with her next. Actually, she has some new bf in Missouri that shes in love with while living in Oregon.
