Doesn’t seem like a “strawberry festival”

All of these options and a shooting in the parking lot on the way out? Count me in!

This is extravagant.

However knew a guy that used to sell food at fairs and festivals around Louisiana and Mississippi. Gotta take into account the price they paid for a spot ranges from a couple hundred dollars to thousands for the major events. Gas to get to the location, lodging. The guy I knew wouldn’t book anywhere, if it was a dud festival to far to drive home and he barley or don’t make money he’d sleep in the truck. And also, yes they know they have you trapped.

Point being it’s not going to be close to retail. But I’ll say it again, this is a bit absurd…even in Biden’s America.

Maybe if everyone would stop buying things at insane prices, the vendors would have no choice but to go down in price.

the menu does too

Just a messy mish mash that probably eats up their absurd margins that would be expected.

I honestly expected different for the strawberry fest. Do people still frequent that event?

Imagine the heroics of charging old prices. Probably make your nut just off the press.

Outback Steakhouse legal team drawing up a C&D as we speak

Nothing like going to Texas Roadhouse and ordering a Bloomin Onion. Servers just love that.

This thread is the type of thing that helps make it “right.” Just sitting back and thinking, “Oh, well, I guess I just won’t eat” or “Guess I’ll just bite the bullet and pay up” just perpetuates the gouging.

Yeah ain't no way the Turkey leg should be $25

I think I paid 20 for one at the Texas state fair last fall.

But I can forgive the 20-25 dollars on the smoked turkey leg a hell of a lot more than the 20 dollar blooming onion.
