It's the " 's " on "Oreo" that gets me.

How many OREOS does one get for $12? Because I'd rather sneak in an entire pack for $4.

And that , folks, is why prices will be higher next year

Do you not understand that fairs and festivals have laughable prices for their food? Go buy a corndog from a carnie and see what the price is.

I bought the first ICEE I've had in over 25 years yesterday.

It was 8 dollars.

Given it was somehow in the high 80s... I considered it a wise purchase.

Remember going as a kid in the 90s. Good times. I’d starve before my parents paid those prices.

Talked to a cute black lady yesterday who was eating a deep fried oreo strawberry sandwich. Which was also deep fried.

Honest answer, it didn't look bad.

But I can only assume she does crossfit for 12 hours a day.

“black lady”

Why is the “black” important to your note?

Don’t let the prices in the OP fool you. Here’s another booth at the festival that’s a lot more reasonable.

Because I felt that 20-something year old little black girl that I was talking to while holding my son just to make my wife get jealous was somehow a little too descriptive.

But you do you race baiter.

Those are carnival vendors from out of state. They are not local. All the local non profit is inside gates around square

True.

Ponchy focused FB sites are vociferously complaining about the out of town vendors high prices and encouraging folks to buy local.

that booth must be losing a ton of money. i've been told a $12 corn dog and $12 fries is the going rate for food these days if the proprietor is expecting to turn a profit.
