Are we at a movie theater, sporting event or Disney World?

We were at Disney for Labor Day last year and the Baton Rouge State Fair a month later. I can tell you this much:
Those prices are more on par with the Baton Rouge State Fair than Disney World.

And I thought it was only Rock The Country Charging that much for 'fair food'.

Oreo’s gets a needless apostrophe.

Why not nacho’s, turkey leg’s, etc.?

If you’re going to be a dumbass, at least be consistent.

Well that’s because it’s the same carnies working the BR State Fair as the ones working the Strawberry Festival.

The BidenFest has lasted 4 years and it’s been very expensive.

Unless that booth is at the perfect location where people just walk up and see them first, they will struggle overall.

I went yesterday… that’s on the Main Street as you’re walking to the festival

Now I don’t feel bad about charging 5 dollars for a chili dog.

Disney's is currently about $13.49.

French Quarter Fest had some wild prices but nothing like what OP shared. Worst were maybe Koz's three tiny redfish wontons for $10 and another place's $13 cracklins.

$12 for Oreos?

There must be a charge for the unnecessary apostrophe.

These are prices at one of the out of town vendor booths in downtown. The booths inside the park and down Sixth Street are actual local vendors who represent schools, clubs, farmers, etc in the community. Their prices are more reasonable and the money stays local.

carnival vendors from out of state.

There were some Armenians grilling on main street. I caught the spices about a block away.

Walked up and chatted a little bit. They gave me a few samples, those guys know their way around a grill.

That booth is an out of state vendor that is set up in town away from the festival grounds.

All booths on the festival grounds are local non-profit organizations.

Ponchatoula Jr High was selling turkey legs for $15 inside the park.

Booth rental space prices have gotten astronomical, but those prices are unacceptable!
