I have two dogs, they eat the same food, yet one of them has gas so bad it’s keeping me awake. This has happened before sporadically, but it’s becoming increasingly more common. If I could bottle this smell it would be the most potent chemical weapon in existence.
One dog, no gas, other dog a Nazi gas chamber - anyone have experience with this??

Ours used to have terrible gas. Started giving him a bit of yogurt with his food and it went away

I’ll try it. It’s just perplexing how one has no gas and the other is killing me.

Something about the particular food you give him probably doesn’t sit well with him

The kitten I adopted a few months ago farts like a draft horse. She's precious but if I pick her up she almost always cuts a cloud that peels paint. She's healthy, loves the food I feed her, other cats aren't gassy so I hope in time she'll grow out of it.

Also no fried people food.

I don’t think there’s good gas.

Unless the words “mineral rights” are involved.

WTF has happened to this site? We’re a shell of what we used to be, and even that a generous description.

Tinka and Jax eat the same food, same amounts. Tinka farts loudly, but it seldom stinks. Jax is the king of the SBD. he can cloud a whole room when he gets started.

Sometime neither farts at all. This is with an unchanged diet or feeding times.

I've used this trick too when we have guests over, just own up to it!

I was wondering how many posts it would take for someone to come to the logical conclusion. Obviously the dog must be sleeping in the bed with the OP or the gas wouldn't keep him/her awake at night.

I'm not big on animals in my house to begin with and certainly not going to have one sleeping in my bed.

Both same breed?

The smelly one is a Boxer, isn't it?

It happened again last night. The damned worst odor I’ve ever smelled.
I followed him this morning and discovered he had found a piece leg from a deer carcass he’d been munching on. Hopefully this clears out of his system soon.

This works? I have two dogs and one of mine has horrible gas. Its funny because she walks with her head down right after then the smell hits you. Its horrible, but I will no doubt try this.

As the owner of a boxer, this is too relatable. His farts are both audible and smell disgusting.

I'm going to try adding some Greek yogurt to his dinner as mentioned above.

Why are you sleeping outside with the dogs?
