On a scale of 1 to Jorts, how trashy is the Apple Watch?

Just got an Apple Watch. Always preferred a traditional style, so I’m deciding if I should return it or not.

I am aware that everything is trashy in the eyes of the OT, so I’m just curious where on the trashy scale it should land.

Does 90% of this board live in Louisiana? How do they get a say on what's trashy?

Girlfriend wears one. She sets reminders while she’s at work (RN) of things she needs to do for her patients and the alarms go off right on her wrist.

It is a great device for her application.

I personally prefer to wear a normal watch.

Look, I have acute temporal abilities. I can tell you the time, 24 hours a day and without having looked at a clock in hours, within 10 minutes. No sweat.

Watches are stupid.

In New York, every businessperson has an Apple Watch, so I’d say a 0, based on your scale. I also have an Apple Watch, and there ain’t nutin trashy bout me.

Yet they still keep their phones in their faces every moment they are in a public place.

I have that freaky talent too. If I'm off by more than 3 minutes, I'm having a bad day. I have no explanation for why some people are able to do it.

Double Jorts

A mechanical watch is a sign of a gentleman, wearable tech is the sign you make them, sell them, overestimate your importance or you can't get your shite together.

I want to get one. I have so many meetings it’s hard to keep up with everything and a lot of times I don’t notice meeting requests and messages when my phones in my pocket.

But I enjoy the feeling of a watch. I have a Luminox that I’ve worn for several years that I love.
