Old People Names in the future

Nowadays when you think of the name of an elderly woman you think of names like Agnes, Gladys, Edna and so on. However, fast forward about 50 to 60 years and kids in the future will consider names like Kaylee, Breighlynn, and McKayla as grandma names. We as a society have royally fricked oursleves. Grandma Caitlyn just doesn't work.

Jaxson
That first name has been around since the civil war, but most commonly spelled Jackson.
My great grandfather’s name was Aca (pronounced Ace-a, soft A).
I didn’t know until my father’s funeral that my grandfather’s name was Admiral. I always thought it was Dewey. When I read my dad’s obituary, I saw Admiral Dewey Potter. I was like damn, I didn’t know grandpa Dewey was an admiral. My aunt said no, that was his name.

I never thought of that before. Grammaw Jennifer and Pawpaw Kyle are already showing up now though. I can die happy when. My Grandma Ophelia's name or my Pawpaw Luther's comes back around.
