Side question: Didn’t your trailer burn down about 6-7 years back? I’m no home expert but this house seems like it’s been sitting on that lot longer than that

Hey Peej. I am sorry about the damage and loss of your place but I must ask why you were asking the OT (many of whom are also going through the same storm and/or dealing with the storms from last year) for donations when you admitted you have renters insurance? Just curious.

I am not beating him up but I don't get why he asked for donations when he had insurance.
Many people here are struggling with the same and some with ridiculous deductibles but none of them were asking for Venmo donations.

I didn't fuss. I said he had repeated it multiple times. It was unclear if it was renters or contents only because the trailer was old (and not able to be insured any longer).

Is that a thing? I have been in RE for a long time and never heard of it. Back in my realtor days, I sold really older places that had mobile homes and people could get insurance. Of course, the difference may be if they are in a park or not.
I seriously don't know if things changed or what. If Peej could only get contents because of that then him asking for help makes more sense.
