There is no figuring out this level of stupidity. But the champ among them might be the boyfriend's roommate, who had less stake in this (that neither the girl nor the boyfriend had any real reason to be mad about) than anyone, was like "so you're going to murder your girlfriend's parents just because they told her to clean up after herself? Hey man, I'm in, let's go murder two people and risk life in prison! Think of the upside here!"
