Oh, Don Lemon stop apologizing. They burned down their own town. Over a dozen buildings are in ashes. Dozens of store fronts destroyed.
They are pissed off and angry.

I think they released it so late so that people would have time to get home from work safely and allow businesses to make preparations. Although the latter was basically useless.

Every homeowners policy and every small business policy. Is Walgreens insured for this? Who knows - they self insure. Says so on their website. But John and Suzy small business owner- the people really hurt here - hell no they don't have coverage for it. It's very plainly stated. These rioters totally fricked them.

If I'm a business owner in the area with a place still standing, I'm putting some claymores just inside the doors. You're gonna lose the place anyway, might as well take some of the frickers with it. If they don't loot, they don't get killed.

No matter what time they announced it, they would have rioted into the night.
If they did it during the day, it would have possibly lead to more violence as the crowds could have grown and then as night turns, it gets ugly.
People blaming this on anything other than those doing the looting are doing a disservice to the community at large.
It's a sad event for many involved in the actual incident, but this just makes it sad in a different way that people react in such a manner. They have no purpose for acting out like this. It's disgusting.
