I really hate that this whole thing is bringing out some absolutely ridiculous comments from some black people that I really do respect.

This whole thing is bringing out ridiculous comments from everybody. Stereotypical jokes and finding humor in other people situations is appropriate, right? There are things being said on here that neither race would say in person. Internet Tough Guys.

A LAWYER i know just posted this on facebook:

quote:

I don't assume the mostly white jurors are racist but I can't expect them to emphasize enough to make a political statement by indicting the officer. Even if there wasn't a legal finding to indict, he should have been indicted to make the statement that black males have value too. There have been political statements made for less reasons

so even if the law and science and witness testimony shows there's not enough to indict, they should have indicted and made this guy an example?

how she passed the bar...

Since when is it alright to make a statement at the expense of someone else?

Man I can't even really go on my fb right now. I have people(on both sides, white and black) posting article after article on their wall in support of their stance. Best thing I've seen posted was someone saying they are tired of all the negative things posted and that why can't we remember this week is Thanksgiving and just show thanks instead.

White people get called racists and then the #dearwhitepeople trend is started. Let's paint one broad brush with another broad brush. Makes total sense.

Stripper pole is a pole, not a bar. The bar is the thing where they serve the drinks. Or the things that keep the prisoners in.

Them and the Hispanics(remember I'm in AZ) are being quiet on my fb wall about the subject so far.
