Yeah that is why when you see those business owners on tv they look totally devastated. Because they know they have lost EVERYTHING and won't be covered by insurance.

Those pieces of shite better be glad that didn't happen in Texas. They could and would be shot...justifiably under Texas law.

I had a conversation with a black friend of mine about diversity and St. Louis. I told him that there will never be diverse neighborhoods until the public school system stops failing.

People don't want to pay $2000 in property tax (or more) and then spot another $15k for Viz or $20k for Chaminade to get a decent edication so they can stay living in STL city or Florissant.

Those who can leave, leave. All the positive energy withdraws from the school and it collapses on itself in a morass of union idiocy and waste, fraud, cronyism and failed educational theory.

If you want diverse neighborhoods, fix the schools.

You guys see that gif someone made with Mike Brown and Wilson's face? I'm nervous to post it here.

/r/funny -- under the controversial tab.

As far as the buildings being burned, I'll be shocked if anyone sets up a new business there for years to come. Think how bad the area will become when entrepreneurs can't get insurance on new buildings, and hence, no loans.

Yup. They've GUARANTEED a downward spiral of the whole community.

CNN

Just had on a panel that was actually fairly good. A lot of disscussion about how to take responsibility and peacefully protest. However, they continued the narrative that it was not the resident of Ferguson that were rioting, that those who destroyed the community "flew in" from other locations . Towards the end, the contributor who was at Ferguson warned protestors to watch out for the KKK as they flew home .

Unless the police did that it won't be on the news. According to the MSM black people never kill other black people.

No one bats an eye at the black on black crime epidemic.....but when a white cop shoots a black guy in self defense, lookout!

Racial prejudice and hatred are a huge part of this nonsense, but not in the way these rioters would have you believe.

realistically though, how many owners would ever think that something like this would ever happen to them?

It seemed like it was a sure thing there would be massive riots after the announcement. I wonder if you could have bought a premium insurance policy this week, expecting a riot.

Nope, no insurance company would have written that.
