I never brought that shite to my work, do me the reverse favor please.

it seems like it's usually just one or maybe two people in a department/office that do about 95% this shite

Free food vultures that take home enough leftovers for 15 people after vendors bring food and then leave the empty plates with crumbs on them sitting on the tables instead of trashing them.

"Per my last email"

or

People who set automatic reply emails with the most unnecessary wording like:
"I will be using my PTO" we get it you're off.

Out of curiosity, where are you going?

The breakroom to get one of the 6 bottles of water I drink per day and then to the bathroom because I drink so much water. I get bored easily and my job is a hurry up and wait type thing.

Gals who congregate early in the AM and talk about "how cute" the clothes they are wearing look. Totally annoying

Shouting good morning from a distance. I’m not opposed to greeting someone with a good morning. It’s borderline obnoxious and disruptive to use an outside voice to communicate this.

On the flip side of this.

Walking past someone and saying good morning and having them not even look in your direction as they pass by without responding.

The sheer volume of people who refuse to use even mediocre hygiene habits while in the office bathroom.

"Um no I would not care to try your homemade whatever it is. I have an aversion to fecal matter in my food supply. I've seen how you act in a public bathroom and I shudder to think of your home habits and hygiene."

Loud food chewers/drinkers.

I am so glad I changed jobs a few years ago, but every single day I miss going from my old corner office to a fricking cubicle.

We had a vulture or two at my last job. It was comical. Always first in line for the free food and always went back for 2nds and 3rds before most of us had gotten their 1st plate.

When someone uses the bathroom and doesn't leave the vent after blowing it up.

People who come into work and eat breakfast / talk to coworkers about the same old personal stuiff for an hour or two.

For more than 20 years work email (with no requirement to have mobile access to) and/or work only chat apps (enterprise Skype, then Teams) was the only communication tools we used.

A couple of years ago my most recent previous team decided to do WhatsApp. I declined to participate.

Now my current team (all remote) has decided to all share out personal mobile phone numbers and participate in a group chat to keep us all up to date when some one is running late, has to step out, or is having a feelz and I have gotten roped into this shite show.

I fricking hate it!
