I’ll start:

Shouting good morning from a distance. I’m not opposed to greeting someone with a good morning. It’s borderline obnoxious and disruptive to use an outside voice to communicate this.

Just freaking wave or wait until you’re closer and greet them with your normal inside voice.

I’m not a WFH lobbyist but good lord this is material.

Coffee breath in my face.

And why is it so hard not to fill your cup to the rim so you have to spill it in the hallway?

Desk Jockeys

People who randomly stop by and want to chat and don't know when to go away.

When someone I know knows how to do something asks how they should do it.

Not sure why they play dumb sometimes. I usually figure it’s because they know something has been fricked up and they’re trying to take themselves out of the line of responsibility.

Listening to music over speakers. Why? No one wants to hear that BS. Also, the extreme morning person who is so excited to see you and loudly tells you good morning. Stop lying, you're as miserable as the rest of us.

Now that I think of it, there's 5 different people in my office that do something annoying. I'm probably one of them because I can't sit still and when I walk out of my office, the door motion detector pops pretty loudly. That gets on my nerves too.

Worse yet, attempting to enlist my help in supporting their travel ball or ballet, etc through any means.

I never brought that shite to my work, do me the reverse favor please.

Morning people. Please leave me alone until about 10 am. Loud crunching of potato chips when it’s quiet, and the smell of hot sausage sandwiches from food court, ugh.

Daily 8am meetings that have little to no substance or purpose, but are required to attend.

Not spraying Lysol or something after dropping a giant deuce. Not refilling the paper towel or toilet paper dispenser when it runs out, or at least notifying someone that would be in charge of such things. I'm in a small office, so that's something we do ourselves.

I don’t go into the office itself all that much now that I have a nice setup at home, but when I do, I always have to empty the damn sink that’s filled with dirty dishes. There’s a dishwasher right next to it that I load and run. Then next time I decide to go to the office, there dishwasher is still sitting there filled with the clean dishes I ran. And the sink is filled with new dirty dishes.

I don’t understand who exactly these people think is coming behind them and doing the dishes. It’s frustrating. But I need the sink at times, and I don’t want to maneuver around their rotting dishes.

Out of curiosity, where are you going?

People who ask questions on topics that they could look up for themselves ("Google it!").

People are too lazy to look up answers for themselves so they think it's easier to ask me for answers.
