If you really want to understand some of this, study the carbon cycle (specifically the CO2 cycle)

What isn't real?
And who doesn't like warmer ocean water?
You should relax, baw.

NASA is conducting studies to spray foam insulate the ozone to absorb 45% more of the suns neutrinos.
Too much work, all we really need to do is have everyone take all their old shitty CDs and lay them out reflective side up on their roof.
That'll send 53.6% of the Sun's rays back out toward other planets. They can figure it out from there.

So you are saying this is something that has never happened in the history of this planet?
Of course it has, but over the course of millions of years not a couple (primarily one) centuries. Widespread adaptation is simply not equipped for that speed.

We had records this precise 1000 years ago? Link?

Zika will do that everyone.

So lets speak about atmospheres in terms of pressure.
How many atmospheres are above the oceans surface, say below the stratosphere? How many atmospheres are below the oceans surface?

Can't we just use the weather machine Heather keeps telling us about to make the Earth cooler??

What's the perfect temperature for Earth?
It's not about keeping the Earth at some perfect temp.
It's about predicting the impact of global climate change regardless of who/what is to blame.
Most predictions are about as accurate as spaghetti maps during hurricane season.
You cannot accurately predict the impact because there are simply too many variables/multipliers for today's predictive technology.
That said, one would sound foolish if they denied the existence of tangible scientific evidence proving rising sea levels and temperature.
Since the global climate is directly impacted by oceanic temperatures, you could safely conclude some sort of shift in weather patterns. In fact we have seen this already with a higher occurrence of severe weather events that only had a .01% chance of actually taking place.

I can't believe so many of these morons don't believe in global warming. You idiots should be embarrassed.

Just let me know what temperature to set the sun's activity to. Lord knows we need to keep you liberals happy (quiet).

What's the solution to this thing you won't define that we don't believe in?

I don't know anyone who doesn't believe the earth is warming. But as someone who is trained to study the earth on a day to day basis, it is hard for me to conclude that we are the cause of it.

So what is it that we need to do?
Blow up our economy?
Detonate a bunch on nukes and cloud the atmosphere?
Wage biological warfare on China and India to reduce their energy consumption?
Kill ourselves?
It is my understanding that the recycling I already do isn't enough. What would you have us do besides the R&D into alternative fuel sources that is already underway?
ETA: I bet it starts with a tax.

I don't think anyone really disputes that the Earth is warming and fluctuating very slightly. The main difference is that most rational people don't actually think that human beings are completely or even remotely responsible for it. The only people that truly believe that have a ton of financial gain involved do to the "global warming industry" in one way or another.

Can't say that I have an answer but denying the problem is absurd. The rapid rise in global temperatures coincide with mankind's release of greenhouse gasses. I guess I'd start there.
