Wow, just think how many people would be alive if China had shut down international travel from Wuhan like they did domestically!

How many would be alive if WHO hadn’t lied for China and said it was not transmissible human to human, etc, etc..

we'll never know if we overreacted, but we WILL know if we underreacted!

I remember that quote and how people hailed it as profound.

You can literally apply it to any grotesque abuse of authority for any issue to ever come up. It isn’t profound, it’s the kind of logic you find as justification early in a dystopian novel.

Sounds like Pelosi and Deblasio shouldn't have been encouraging mass gatherings. And Half Whitmer should have locked down Michigan on March 1 since she had publicly available information.

- progressive media told us travel bans and border lockdowns were racist

- the WHO said there was no need to shut anything down and overreact

- China said the virus was contained

- the WHO said the virus didn’t spread person to person

I’m no Donald Trump fan but attempting to lay the blame squarely at his feet for this is intellectually dishonest. If anything, the orange bastard fricked up by listening too closely to the whiners about shutting everything down and kamikaze-ing the economy. Wish he had stuck to his guns and said, “nah.”

Maybe if the entire country wasn’t distracted with a sham impeachment, 50k lives could have been saved.

Why do you want people to die just so corporate fat cats can keep their businesses running, exploiting the people?

[quote]If New York (D) had begun imposing social distancing measures one week earlier than it did in March,

If were going to play the blame game, point in the right direction. New York was unexcusably slow in locking down, not the United States. Hell, most cities in the Midwest were advising not to go out to restaurants and bars while NYC was bragging about their schools being open and running business as usual

Gee, if Governor Cuomo doesn't put sick Covid patients in the nursing homes, thousands of deaths could've been avoided in NY alone.

Bet they didn't mention that.

Don't forget keeping the Subways running 24/7 until what, a few weeks ago, and then only shutting down for an hour?

I mean I'm sure a giant enclosed metal tube crammed with people dispersing them all over the city had zero to do with the spread of a virus.

I don’t think anyone could’ve been saved no matter what.

Will never pay any attention to university modelers again when it comes to public health. They have been proven failures.

Avoided or delayed till the reopening?

Most likely avoided seeing as how things are going as places reopen.

This is no way means I support the way the shutdowns have been implemented before you make that arguemnt

The coronavirus was manna from heaven for the Democrats. It's the only thing that can help them in the election. 95,000 dead and a ruined economy is the best news they've had in 4 years.
