Being a member of a group that preaches hate, and commits violence based on hate, is probably a bit worse.
I don't really have a problem with someone being a liberal. It's their political view.
I do have a problem with someone who joins a group that commits violence in the name of their liberal viewpoint.

I understand how it works fully. My point that you seem to miss is that i think you are displaying shitty behavior even with full knowledge of it.
and if literally any other table tips them the owners share is covered and the server is the only one punished as the owner pockets his money off your check. A server who likely would have some challenges switching jobs right now even if they disagree with the owner.

I don’t think it’s wrong to make it uncomfortable for them, but also think you have to go into that process with somewhat reasonable expectations for how the person could accomplish change. I’d say the same regardless of political slant in either direction. If you want to effect change I think it’s good to realize the dynamics at play and work with them, though there can be times for “burn it all down”
Not sure this is a punish everyone severely who has ever worked with or for the guy. You can target him personally without carpet bombing

Again, I'm not ruining his business, and I disagree with idiots who bomb review sites because they don't like what someone said. What I am saying is, when you choose to do business with loudmouth assholes, it may affect your bottom line because surprise, people usually do not like loud mouth assholes. Obviously if someone who was well respected and randomly throws out an insane tweet, you can't just disinvest right then and there, but Garcia has a history of being a loud mouthed a-hole.

So it’s ok for one person to display shitty behavior but not the other?
To each his own. I don’t go to any place that knowingly supports what I’m against.
I tip well bc almost all of my family is in the hospitality industry - and I know how it works. With overhead, food costs, non tipped employees - he charges so much to support his own fat arse. So either boycott or don’t tip - that’s how it affects him.
If he’s so peachy on Twitter I’m sure he’s wonderful to work for.
