Our current society is really weird. Both hypersexualized AND intolerant of consenting sex at the same time.

I don’t call it sane, but that is how the law is written.
You can have a conversation between two people where someone makes a comment which isn’t obscene but a third party thinks it is obscene and it is a case.
Similar to the bit where the programmers were at a trade show, a blogger overheard something and got offended, and the two guys she took a picture of were kicked out of the conference and subsequently fired over a nothing comment.
