They’re hard at work destroying the legacy of Tolkien. What Amazon has done in their LOTR series is what I think kicked off a lot of this backlash. Even the far left nerds couldn’t stand for it anymore.

Of course it is. And it's not even as much that it's women, but moreso just that it (likely) sucks and doesn't look appealing to anyone. If Disney/Marvel concentrated on making actual good movies, they'd be fine. But instead they try to force girl power/DEI shite down everyone's throats with their products that it's turned people away to the point where a once-can't-miss brand (Marvel) hemorrhages money on most things it turns out now.

As awesome as Avengers: Endgame was, who would've thought that this was basically the moment where Disney took a steep dive off the cliff:

They need a street level movie with Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. That's too real for Disney.

Weaver was able to pull off things in “Alien” that made her character someone you would root for.

well played

look, you could make movies with scantily clad women 30 years ago and get away with it.

Half or more of the broads that hit the screen now we have already seen her snatch so there is no mystery and no way a dude is going see that film.

It should be far more concerning to the makers that women arent going to see this shite either.

I asked a question. No need to be so angry.

Men hate women, and there's not enough women superhero fans to drive the numbers up, unfortunately.

That scene wouldn't have been so bad had it not felt so forced. You're insulting the viewer at this point. I get why they did it, these movies are for everyone, but this scene, it was shite.

My wife called that the "loosening the lid of the pickle jar" moment. All of the "ladies" get together to beat Thanos, and hilariously, fail. "But i loosened it for you"!

The first Wonder Woman was a very good movie. Kick arse was a very good movie with the little girl stealing the show. It's not that female superhero movies don't work, it's shitty female superhero movies that don't work. Dark and grim kind of works for Batman or The Watchmen but for the most part comic book movies need to be fun and funny.

This is such a smooth brain take. There are more women than men in this country and the world at large. Men don't hate women, people hate forced diversity at the expense of story and being lectured to. Why would I give Disney any money at this point, they hate me.

People would much rather see women making sandwiches for the real superheroes than trying to play the hero themselves.
