in a 2 episode run in S3 of ted lasso we had:
- gay player (new character this year!) feeling ostracized being comforted by another character..who also admits he too is gay
- a woman who dated the 2 most charismatic guys on the show became a full-on lesbian complete with office annoucement of the relationship with applause from all
- a player from africa who opened a restaurant sees his chef distraught huddled in front of a TV where the MEAN MEAN BRITISH PM was refusing a floating raft of desperate immigrants to come ashore.
- this was followed up with a 'twitter war' between the soccer player and the PM who tells him to 'shut up and dribble' and in case we missed it, the "shut up and dribble" line is used about 17 more times in the episode
- culimanting in WHITE SUPREMACISTS/EVIL CONSERVATIVE-TYPES trashing his restaurant (because we know this happens all the time) and the SHUT UP AND DRIBBLE spray painted across the back of the bar.
All of which has absolutely ZERO to do with the storyline of a quirky American coach trying to rebuild a soccer team.
Ok. What does this have to do with the failing Marvels movie?

Typical liberal tactic. Deflect deflect deflect… nobody here is talking about the movie itself, just that ‘woke’ policies and procedures often lead to uninspiring results. People are tired of y’all’s narrative being shoved into every fricking piece of their lives. YOU PEOPLE are the minority here. It’s time for the bullshite charades to stop and for life to go back to normal
Plus, why are you trying to play board police? Don’t you hate the police? Why try to imitate them? Typical liberal hypocrite

Shocker, the general public doesn't want to go spend money on another liberal woke agenda driven garbage arse movie...

I'm sure this is all white men's fault.

won't stop them
they took the biggest non-woke success story (Mario Bros.) and made Yoshi outwardly trans for the sequel

well it was a response to this so...

it’s not even about having female stars. It’s about creating a movie to push a social narrative instead of just making a fun entertaining movie. The consumer can sense that.

Game of Thrones was absolutely awesome until season 8, and the major characters outside of Jon Snow were female. Nobody cared though because the characters were well written and werent pandering to social issues

Women don't want to be lectured to by militant lesbians.

I don’t know what the marvel movies are supposed to be about ever since they killed thanos and the infinity stones plot line.
Now they’re about girl-bosses taking down the patriarchy.

Until the last season where they backseated Jon Snow for all the female characters including the ugly feminist fantasy where the weird girl gets prince charming (Brienne sleeping with Jaime and Arya w/Gendry).
Notice how the more unattractive women have a glorious ending and the more attractive characters (Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke) go out in screaming rage?
You really don't think it's a nerd girl revenge fanfiction?
The popular girls die and frumpy nerd gets the jock prince.

Yeah.
But what does a random episode of Ted Lasso have to do with The Marvels?
No one was arguing the fact that The Marvels is pushing an agenda with their dialogue and story. Just arguing about the particular reason it is failing. Bringing up another random TV show that pushed an agenda in a random episode doesn't help anyone decide why we have a Marvel box office disaster on our hands.
