Better make it 70mph. Maybe 60. Why not 50?

If you don’t understand the reaction time differences when you are going 70 and when you are going 110, that’s a you problem.

Nope, it's the quick stop that kills.

The fact that you got multiple upvotes for your post makes me sad for this country.

We need less government control in this country, not more.

You have no constitutional right to drive however fast you want on the interstate. Do you have a problem with speed limits? Are speed limits infringing on your rights?

For me this is common sense that doesn’t infringe on any rights. You can’t claim you have a right to do something (Drive 100 mph) that is already illegal.

He wouldn’t have been driving so fast if he was receiving a blowie. Let this be a lesson ladies.

Every car driving on public roads should have governor set to no more than 90 mph. Anything beyond that and you are endangering everyone around you. There is nowhere the speed limit is any higher than that.

How many stories do we have to read like Henry Ruggs. Thankfully they didn’t kill someone else.

Call me a communist. I don’t care. I see enough dumbasses on I-10 driving 110 mph and it is inevitable they are going to crash and potentially kill someone innocent.

As I’ve gotten older , this is what I’d support. It really makes no sense to drive 90.
I had a Charger fly up on my arse a month ago going 90 plus on I-110. Coulda spun me out and orphaned my kids. Yeah speed does matter.
Go get on a track if you wanna haul arse.

I’m gonna catch a lot of hate for this, but I was pulled over when 17 for 125 in a 55 and taken to jail for wreckless endangerment because my future fiancé was under 18. I’m guessing wreckless driving is left to officers discretion on to arrest? I was young and very dumb. I had no business owning that car but then I thought otherwise. I didn’t quit speeding but I at least started doing it on a track instead of the highway. Growing up in the early 2000s with a new sports car close to a 1/4 mile track was one of my fondest memories. Looking back I realize how often my parents missed sleep because of the dumb things I used to do. I hate their story ended how it did….. Most everyone has done it once. Some get caught or it costs them injury/life. I’m glad I’ve grown out of my speed chasing phase
