New England huh. Wow, that's just awful for them. I mean if there was only some way to put people who understand economics, and taking care of our own in place to prevent this from happening.

Too bad. Enjoy welfare this winter.

I am getting crushed with heating oil prices but at least I can pay it. Let them freeze for all I care. It’s what they wanted.

I remember looking at the map on Election Day and seeing all that blue concentrated in the NE. Sounds like those people are getting exactly what they voted for.

Tell them to produce their fricking own.

I’m tired of Texas nat gas prices going up because Pennsylvania is turning their back on massive reservoirs in their own borders and buying imports form the south. These assholes are not lowering aggregate demand at all, but they’re jacking up national prices because they refuse to utilize the supply in their own backyard. It’s stupidity, hypocrisy, and self-righteousness all rolled into one disgusting pile of bullshite

F them and their dumb arse policies and save the planet BS. Time for them to nut up and fully embrace the green energy bs they screwed us all over to implement.

They should put on an extra hoodie and reorient their solar panels.

The Jones Act, a wartime legislation from a century ago, prohibits non-U.S.-flagged vessels from delivering goods between U.S. ports. This means that no LNG tanker can move gas from the Gulf Coast to New England because there are no U.S.-flagged LNG tankers in the world.

It's a good thing Democrats are so pro-pipelines... oh, wait.

Aggravating the energy security problem for New Englanders is the fact that a lot of them use heating oil to heat their homes during winter. Heating oil, like other middle distillates, is in short supply right now. This has driven bills higher, in some cases much higher, the WSJ reported earlier this week.

It's a good thing Dem... oh, nevermind. There's an objective pattern here for anyone wanting to look without biased eyes.

Maine and Mass. had no elections. The rest of these dinglebears went hardcore blue. This is them asking for, accepting, and loving what they get. It is just sad they want inflation, a recession, and high energy prices.

I just hope BLM visits their Nike shops when the weather gets nicer. It's too cold to burn, loot, rape and pillage this time of year.

Boo-hoo. As of last week I quit caring about their energy bills. They literally asked for it.

Bro, you have no idea. I mean designing and permitting a pipeline should be hard, there are a lot of well deserving environmental, safety, and land rights hurdles that have to be solved but NJ, NY, CT, MA...frick trying to get a pipeline through those states. I know first-hand.

It takes a serious dedication to stupidity to still support the Democrat Party at this point. I have no pity for them. They’ve made their bed now they can lay in it.

They have made it so fricking difficult to build pipelines in that part of the nation, and bitch when the price goes up.

We tried for years to build on the NE, finally gave up when we realized the situation.

Hate to see it

The dirty truth about this winter isn’t what is happening here. It’s what is going to be happening in Northern Europe. The price of natural gas needed to heat peoples homes is already 6 times higher than it is in the US. The price being driven by low availability. The Russia war combined with every nation there and the EU having laws restricting fossil fuels use is all coming home to roost.
Not to steal a liberal screaming point, but people are actually going to die because of this. And no one’s even talking about it.
Loren Scott mentioned it as an aside in his forecasts for LA. Essentially said yeah it will suck for the US but it pales in comparison to the train about to hit Europe.
