LINK

The bridge and the Bayway will be the largest in the country. The only thing is we gotta pay for it with tolls.

Although Hwy 90 (The Causeway) will be free.

There better be a frequent user rate. I live in Spanish fort and work in Mobile. At a minimum it will cost me $1500 a year to go to work.

Tolls don’t work. Our study out of BR proved that

As long as it's tall enough to avoid being hit by a crane, we good.

I drive the causeway from the Northshore to Metairie every day. I have no sympathy for you.

We’ll all be zipping through Mobile, while Baton Rouge is still studying their possible new bridge.

Will that be the only part of I-10 with a toll? I didn’t know they could do that.

If only Baton Rouge would decide to do a loop like this. Hell, make the tolls $6-$8; I bet a frickload of people would still drive it over going through BR.

You could call it that. But really I prefer to live somewhere that my property value will increase, tax money is spent on shite that benefits me, and the schools don’t blow dick.

Bluegill- great for live music and po boys
Ed’s - super underrated. Best outdoor dining on the causeway.
Felix’s- great service, good food.
Oyster House- solid, great oysters
R&R - best crawfish in south Alabama.

No, it is a bypass of the tunnel. You can still take the tunnel but you will be tolled for taking the bay way since they are improving it. The tunnel in downtown mobile will remain free.
