this seems like a really good way to lose more customers.
We are a family of five. All living in the same household with five different profiles. No way am i paying more than i pay now. will definitely cancel if this goes in effect

Never seen a company alienate its own base more than netflix. Is any streaming service going after its customers like this?
Quite frankly their content sucks, they cancel alot of their own shows after a year or 2, frequent price increases, charging customers for sharing... what a gem of a company

Boy they must really want people to leave their platform altogether.
Cause it’s going to continue to happen.

I cancelled a year ago when netflix went hyper LBGTQ and Woke. Haven’t missed it at all.

It’s just a money grab to handle the increase in competition as all the networks pull content and have their own platforms.
In the end, “cable” tv is simply reinvented with lots of small packages of what we really want to watch…more like what Amazon is doing.

Sounds like this is their way to address account sharing.

They should do like Hulu live and only allow sign in from one location
Or they could do like Google and limit your account to 6 profiles and 3 continuous streams. To get unlimited streams it's an extra $20 a month. Something similar could work.

Netflix to start charging up to $4 a month for each additional profile on your account
They will eventually price themselves out of the market at the rate they are going. I have used a Plex server for years and increasingly have friends asking about it. Same with IPTV.

I cancelled Netflix over a year ago. The content has gotten too weird for me. All of this subtitled stuff has gotten overwhelming.

My wife's emploter gave her a couple streaming services, and we found one more for less than $10 per month. We cancelled Netflix quickly, because this all happened aboot the same tome Netflix started treating their clients with such disdain, and threatening us.
We also cancelled cable and went with Sling for college football season. Sling will go away after the season.

Good. I’ve been wanting to cancel.
Yep. The profile thing is stupid anyway. But charging me for them ain’t happening. All these guys get greedy and End up shooting them selves in the foot

It’s like they learned nothing from their old nemesis Blockbuster

The whole concept and benefit for me in streaming is being able to do it from multiple locations since I travel a lot.

Can’t they just let me, my brother, mom, nephew, grandpa, and cousin all use Netflix in different parts of the country in peace?

Sounds like a great plan to push people away from your product.
