Welp, guess I’ve got to finish Stranger Things before the end of the year.

Yeah that’s a huge pain in the arse because they go off of IP address. My router was messing up last Saturday and I kept having to reset it. Got tired of that so I was just gonna use my phone as a hotspot to stream HULU Live. It wouldn’t let me watch live TV because it wasn’t my home IP address. Definitely gonna cancel that shite now

Netflix will soon have the same ending as the company they destroyed, Blockbuster.

Wrong.

Blockbuster did Blockbuster in for refusing to adapt. Not sure why everyone and their dog don’t know this by now. While Redbox was busy stealing their business, Netflix offered to sell themselves to Blockbuster - BB refused.

Hence, they gon.

On the Netflix losing massive revenue aspect, I’m not sure what other options they have. Can’t sit idly by losing money so what are they supposed to do? They’ve already come out with fresh content

Pretty bold for a company putting mostly garbage content with a sprinkle of good here and there.

Consolidate to one profile. Done and done.

How the hell is Netflix not basically printing money. They should be a cash machine.

what about accounts that are on a plan for streaming multiple devices at the same time? Already paying extra, now they will charge more even if you are actually just streaming multiple devices in the same house? How do stupid people end up in charge of companies like this?

I canceled Netflix yesterday. Had it since 2010.

Fresh does not equal good. I'm sure they have lots of fat at the top making millions. Increasing prices without offering anything in return will only push customers away, and/or people will reduce accounts to minimum service. Maybe it will be a wash on the top end, but to make the same profits based on less customers is not a good business model. As a CEO, I would rather make a little less money on the top and increase customer base contributing to that.

Same. Actually we have 3 accounts but one has never been clicked on in our lives and the other is a kids one for 2x a year when friends’ kids are over. Guess I should remove those two.

I hope someone organizes a mass cancellation day the day they implement this. Could wreak havoc on their stock. Heck , even if you don't want to cancel, just cancel it for a week to send a message

not me, dropped Netflix a while back. I keep Hulu live during sports, then alternate having one streaming service to watch a series then drop it and go to another. Never have more than one. We dont watch alot of TV outside of football and a few shows.

We never got rid of cable, and we aren’t TV show followers. Jones puts on whatever he’s seen 9000 times on cable as background noise, or sports.

If streaming becomes a pain like they’re trying to become, it’s nothing to me to cancel them all. I could go weeks if not months without even turning on my TV.

Sounds like they'll sneak this in on those that don't watch their billing. If it just comes out automatically a lot of people probably won't even notice. We have 3 profiles. Mine, my wife's and the kids. I don't want the crap my wife watches on my profile!

You can't blame them. Other services limit the users. Having 10 people share a netflix account wasn't going to last forever.
