Wildfires just seem unstoppable and can swallow up a community/region without any warning and fast.

And no way to get out of its way or escape. You just endure it and hope for the best

I’m not a big fan of any of them, but tornadoes are numero uno on my list

Tsunamis terrify me.

Seems like it's on the same level of tornados with their spontaneity.

What's the one natural disaster event you wouldn't be able to handle? Snow/blizzard, flooding, mudslide, earthquake, tsunami, tornado, hurricane, wildfire, volcano?

If you're in the bullseye of any of these, no one is going to be in good shape At least a major one.
A F0 tornado is a few trees down. Probably gonna be OK.
A category 1 hurricane you'll probably be fine indoors.
Etc.
But bring on a F5 tornado or a Cat 5 hurricane, you better be elsewhere.
A blizzard here in the South would be actually captivating.

I survived Hurricane Harvey but it was close. I hate to say this, but if we didn’t flood then we might never.

Beryl sucked this July. Three trees down in my yard and no electricity for a week. I can take the heat but lost a ton in fridge/freezer

Getting caught in an avalanche would suck. I think people underestimate snow because it's soft and fluffy and we play in it as kids. But man a few feet of that can just hopelessly trap you while you are slowly crushed or suffocate to death.

At least with most of the others, you have the chance of finding your stuff and salvaging some of it. With a fire, everything is destroyed.

Where I live an f5 tornado would be the biggest concern, but a massive heart attack would do it as well..

Volcano is the most certain to end in death, depending on where you are when it erupts. Additionally, if a large enough volcano erupts (ie. Yellowstone), you can still be fricked a thousand miles away. So that gets my vote.

If Yellowstone has a massive eruption we are all screwed for a while. Mother earth is more powerful than we give her credit for.

A strong tornado. I live on Sand Mountain in NE AL. Our small county got decimated by an EF5 on April 27, 2011. Of the 319 people killed in the Southeast that day, 36 were in our county. We were about 2 miles from the path, but we know many people that were directly affected. The stories of parents holding on (or trying to hold on) to their kids as the tornado was sucking them away is heart-wrenching and terrifying to hear. To make it worse, we have multiple tornados most every freaking year, and it’s rare that we don’t have a year with someone getting severely hurt or killed by one. So yeah, it’s most definitely tornados for me.
