What good are Drs and Engineers if there is no electricity nor petroleum.
Folks who have fundamental skills how to live off the land, will have the best chance of survival.

Watch the movie Greenland where an asteroid will hit earth and the US government evacuates people with certain skills to rebuild society (Doctors, Architects, Engineers, etc.) to bunkers in Greenland

Is this why Trump wants to buy Greenland?

No, but if we fire all the government scientist, the odds of a direct hit will never go up.

Need to pay higher taxes now to prevent it!

This thing is the equivalent of a nuke without the radiation, and people in the impact zone will have ample time to leave. Not an extinction level event in the slightest.

Would be really dope if it hit an uninhabited area like in the middle of a big desert, so we can set up live cameras and enjoy the show.

See that's my point. I've never been a conspiracy theorist, but since covid happened I side-eye anything coming from "scientists".

How do we know how accurate that information is?

What would happen if we were told this thing is extinction level?
What would happen if we were told this thing is "small" and has only a very small chance of impact?

I'm not going to have anxiety about it either way, since there is nothing I could do other than freak out.

Though I do keep a list of people who have lots of prepper supplies but without defensive weapons...
