This is absolutely correct. Ruining another human being, a child, your child, so you can show your peers how open minded you are.

Geauxjudge ruined his career. Don't be a public official and take bribes.

Pretty sure that's why people become public officials.

In April 2010, Watts said that the pair would have a third child if they could be guaranteed a baby girl or twin baby girls.[

I guess they were going to get their girl one way or another.

Inevitably now that she's older she regrets body shaming people by letting herself be seen as beautiful ever. It's exclusive and insensitive.

I'm SURE this genetic female who identifies as a woman would -never- do what she thought was expedient to her career.

Still no. Bad parenting allowing that.

Before, it was trendy to adopt a child from Africa, now the trend is to have a trans kid. Sad crowd

"Great job, Ray Donovan."

Encouraging and flaunting this abnormal behavior rather than getting their child some professional help. Good Lord.

Not if you believe this isn't a free and informed decision made by the child. And as someone who has litigated numerous custody and DSS cases in family court, I'd bet the farm that this kid, and almost all others, don't have the mental capacity to make that determination. And if the parent is forcing or pressuring the child into making this decision, knowing full well the potential future consequences, that constitutes abuse imo.

Totally agree.

It's every decent parent's job to protect kids from their own stupid arse, undeveloped decision making ability.

That's like saying if a kid wants to eat candy and ice cream every meal every day, the parent should respect the kid's decision and facilitate. That's not what parents do. They tell those stupid kids that they need to eat nutritious food so they don't grow into obese diabetics. Unchecked, a child will make decisions that will do itself harm in the long and short term.

If you leave a kid at home alone all day, it's considered neglect because kids aren't qualified to look after themselves and make decisions as adults. Similarly, this "choice" that kids are supposedly making has harmful repercussions. We as a society don't allow kids to make informed consent about having sex one time but we think it's ok to allow them to make a decision to change their sex long term?
